New JLI Course

Dear Friends,

I hope all is well with you and yours.   As a past student of our adult classes and JLI courses, I wanted to invite you to a great new course,  Portraits in Leadership, coming up this very  next week, Monday night, February 8, at 7 pm, and Tuesday, Feb 9 at 10 am.   I am hoping you will consider joining us for this fascinating journey. You can register at http://www.myJLI.com or respond to this email, and then bring a check on the day of the class.

It is a study of the inspiring life story of six figures whose courage and determination helped Judaism weather its darkest hours. In the face of the first-century Roman assault on Jerusalem, the fundamental institutions of the Jewish people were utterly destroyed. But with wisdom and verve, these leaders took the radical steps that managed to preserve the essence of Judaism to this very day.  Rabbi Akiva, Hillel, Rabbi Meir and more.

Do you like Jewish history?   You’ll get that here.

Biography?   That too.

Inspiration and tools to deal with day-to-day challenges?   That’s what the learning of the lives of these Giants is all about. What better way to find guidance than from the wise example of others who encountered hardships and used them as the impetus for growth and change.”

The course is starting  this coming Monday evening and Tuesday morning so I encourage you to register today. It is a decision you’ll be glad you made!  You can register at  www.chabadofmv.com/jli, or respond to this email and then bring a check on the day of the class.

Fee is $80, special senior rate is $68, and no one is turned away due to lack of funds.

Enjoy the interactive promotional YouTube video about the course by clicking here.
