With sadness we inform you of the passing of Esther Mandel, wife of Marvin Mandel. May G-d comfort you among the mourners and Jerusalem. Our condolences to the entire Mandel and Stein family and to the Jewish community of Barstow, where she lived and taught for many years.

Shmurah Matzah
Round, handmade, Shmurah Matzah is a very special way of celebrating the seder. Every year CJC makes this Matzah available to the entire Jewish community. If you would like to purchase some for your seder the prices are: $10 for 3 round matzot or $18 for a pound (there are about 8 round matzot in a pound). Make your order today, first come first served. Contact CJC at 770-1270 or email to [email protected], put matzah in the subject line.
JBC – CJC’s Jewish Business Networking Update
Plans are underway for the first JBC networking event. Save the date! The first event will be a speed networking event and will take place on Thursday, March 11 at 6:30 pm. More details to follow.

New AA Meeting
There is a new AA meeting in South County that meets at CJC. This is designed for Jewish people in recovery looking for a safe, Jewish environment. The group meets every Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm.
