| Delegation of Power to Sell Chametz Form
During the Passover Holiday we are instructed not to have any "Chametz", leavened products, like bread in our possession, including, chometz that tends to harden and adhere to inside surfaces of pans, pots, or cooking utensils, the utensils themselves, as well as pet food that contain chametz and mixtures thereof.
The rabbis have devised a very simple way of fulfilling this mitzvah by “selling” all our chometz (i.e., any leavened products) for the 8 days of Passover. It is very easy: just fill out the form below. For more information click here.
I hereby authorize Rabbi Zalman Marcus to dispose of all chometz that may be in my possession wherever it may be - at home, at my place of business, or elsewhere - in accordance with the requirements of Jewish law, as incorporated in the special contract for the sale of chometz.
