Our Divisions

Our divisions are described on our camp brochure.

Younger Division (Entering Grades K-2)

A typical fun-filled day includes swimming, crafts, sports, "skills instruction" with top specialists from the OC area & much more. There are some field trips and great entertainers every week.

Older Division (Entering Grades 3-6)

The Older division of Camp Gan Israel gives campers the widest possible array of activities, trips and educational programs, providing a meaningful learning experience, and leave a lasting impact. The daily schedule includes a mix of sports, swimming, field trips, educational activities and crafts. A week generally includes one or two trips and specialty experts like animal trainers, drama, art, and much more.

Pioneers Division (Girls entering Grades 7-8)

As kids grow, so does their ability for self-discovery, adventure, peer bonding, and appreciation of group dynamics.  Under the leadership of a team of senior staff, our  Pioneer Division combines overnights, team-building initiatives, swimming, athletics, and lots of CGI friendship and spirit to impart timeless values and an appreciation of others. This program has more trips and fun excursions.
